At Libicar, we offer convenient and reliable vehicle delivery (β€œshipping”) services to ensure our customers enjoy a smooth and hassle-free rental experience. This policy explains how we handle delivery, pickup, and associated logistics for all rentals.


1. Scope of Service

Our vehicle delivery (β€œshipping”) service applies to all car rentals made through:

  • Our official website (www.libicarauto.com)
  • WhatsApp booking (019-981 0206)
  • Approved Libicar partner platforms

Delivery is available within Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and surrounding regions. Extended delivery to other states may be arranged upon request with additional charges.


2. Delivery & Pickup Options

Libicar offers flexible options to suit your needs:

a. Self Pick-Up

Customers may collect their reserved vehicle at our designated pickup point:

b. Doorstep Delivery

Our delivery team can deliver the vehicle directly to your chosen location (home, hotel, airport, etc.).

  • Delivery Coverage: Within a 30 km radius of Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC)
  • Standard Delivery Fee: RM50 – RM150 (depending on distance and vehicle type)
  • Complimentary Delivery: For rentals exceeding 3 days or total value above RM2,000

c. Vehicle Return (Collection)

At the end of your rental period, you can either:

  • Return the car at the pickup point, or
  • Request vehicle collection from your location (additional fee may apply).

All return appointments must be scheduled at least 3 hours before the end of the rental period.


3. Delivery Timing

  • Standard Delivery Window: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • After-Hours Delivery: Available upon request (subject to RM100 surcharge)
  • Estimated Delivery Time: Within 1–3 hours after booking confirmation, depending on distance and traffic.

We strive to deliver vehicles punctually, but delays may occur due to weather, road conditions, or peak-hour traffic.


4. Delivery Requirements

Upon delivery or pickup, the customer (or authorized driver) must:

  • Present a valid IC/Passport and Driving License.
  • Complete the vehicle inspection checklist with our staff.
  • Sign the rental agreement and acknowledgment form.

Failure to meet these requirements may result in delivery cancellation without refund.


5. Failed Delivery or Missed Handover

If our delivery team arrives and the customer is unavailable or uncontactable:

  • A RM100 rescheduling fee will apply.
  • Delivery may be rescheduled for the next available slot.
  • If the customer fails to receive the vehicle within 24 hours, the booking may be canceled with no refund.

6. Vehicle Condition at Delivery

All vehicles are:

  • Fully cleaned, sanitized, and inspected prior to delivery.
  • Delivered with a minimum of half-tank fuel (or as specified in your rental agreement).
    Customers are encouraged to perform a joint inspection and record photos/videos during handover.

7. Return Shipping & Responsibility

When returning a vehicle:

  • The customer must ensure the car is in the same condition as received.
  • Any damage, missing items, or excessive dirt will result in deduction from the security deposit.
  • For return pickups, our team will re-inspect the vehicle on-site to confirm its condition.

8. Delays or Delivery Failure by Libicar

In the rare event of a delay or issue caused by Libicar:

  • Customers will be informed promptly via WhatsApp or phone call.
  • If delivery cannot be completed within a reasonable time, customers may:
    • Accept an alternative vehicle, or
    • Request a full refund with no additional charge.

9. International Delivery

Libicar currently does not offer international delivery services.
All rentals and deliveries are strictly within Malaysia.
